Kendrick Lamar è il re in carica dei BET Hip Hop Awards. Il rapper di Compton, in California, ha ottenuto 14 nomination per la cerimonia del 2013, superando tutti i suoi coetanei.
Kendrick Lamar sta passando un'estate fantastica. Poco dopo aver pubblicato il suo versetto rivoluzionario su "Control" di Big Sean, è diventato il più grande contendente ai BET Hip Hop Awards. Giovedì sono stati annunciati i nominati e Lamar ha guidato il gruppo con 14 cenni.
Arrivare secondo è Drake con 13 nomination e J. Cole con 10. Grazie all'album di Lamar del 2012 bravo ragazzo, m. A.A.d città e innumerevoli collaborazioni, sarà lui quello da battere.
L'ottava edizione dei BET Hip Hop Awards sarà ospitata dalla leggenda del rap Snoop Lion aka Snoop Dogg.
